Hi everyone,
I just have one question so far - how do you model roof details (tiles) to a roof plane with opening? (roof window).

I'm having absolutely no success with your Instant Roof plugin. No matter what I attempt, SU crashes. From what I could see on SketchUcation, there appears to be a problem with another plugin "sunposition" (which I do not have).
I tried the re-naming suggestion and it appears to work fine.
Are there other known plugin problems/conflicts?

Hi, i have little issues with adding details to roof to achieve the desired rood detail function.
All i see are strips of vertical lines.
Is it a problem of my installed script or am not just getting the right thing done

When i click v-ray render. How comes I can see the roof on the building. I only see the walls and windows.

Have created a roof, Craftsman w/ exposed rafters, and 1" roof thickness. When I zoom away any distance I can see the rafters through the roof surface. When I zoom in close they go away, but any distance is a problem. Do I need to maintain a thicker roof thickness, or is this a style issue? Haven't been able to work it out. Please help.

I have tried to use the trellis portion of the script to generate simple quick timber frame structures. I have run into the following problem:
- top of the hips are not being rendered
Suggestion/question:
- is it possible to add a setting which will allow for rafters to work from center of ridge beam (in both axis)?
- hips are fine (other than no tops), rafters are always askew
- could you suggest a work around if above is not available?

For users of Instant Roof Pro:
Revision v1.3 is available. This fixes a condition that occurs under SU8 where the script fails to complete some simple roofs as shown below on the left. The image on the right shows the result using this new revision. This behavior is particular to SU8 and does not occur under SU7 or SU6.

Hello, I'm french so sorry if I make mistakes when writting !!! Well I'm really interested in your plugin really great !!
I just wanted to know if it was possible to the structure under the roof, I mean Wood, like in the example of Hipped Trellis http://www.valiarchitects.com/sites/default/files/tutorials/pdf/Hipped-trellis.pdf.
Can't do it with demo version, all the roof is erased, I know I have to Select and erase the 2 groups containing the roof surface and fascia to retain only the
beams but it's impossible ? Even if I explode the groups and select roof area, everything vanished

Typically, I set up my roofs to start at the plate height, (8'-1", 10'-1", etc.) While I think the script for roofs is excellent, is there a way to have the bottom of the rafters appear at the plate height? Of do I have to "lift" the roofing plate the depth of the rafters, and add a closer piece to each rafter to plate area?
