I downloaded the free version of "instant roof" and install it in the plugin directory.
Now I can see the menu, but nothing happened ... Function or help don't appear.
I work with SKP 8 Pro and many, many plugins. It is difficult to know why it crash.
I have try with french and english version.
Have you any idea ?

Hi. 1st of all love the pluggin. Bought the pro version for speedy roof modeling.
To create high detail models of roofs I want to make my own tiles. Is that possible and does anyone know how?
Many thanks

Hi, I have tried to find out how the height at slope change was measured. It said 228 cm, but have not been able to find the points from which this was measured.
When making this kind of roof from an elevation I think it is important to know how to give the exact height of the first slopes.
Thanks in advance,
Rob

Hi, after downloading and installing Instant Roof Pro, I downloaded the roof materials.
Now I wonder where to place them.
Should they be with the Instant Roof plugins or in the Sketchup materials folder?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I installed the free version. I only have 4 roof styles - where are the rest?

Hi - excellent plugin, I've found all three very useful. I have a problem with a model containing alot of CAD import, in the region of 100 houses (so you can see your plugin will be a lifesaver if I can get it to work)

I've tried the workarounds suggested in your PDF tutorials (isolate the roof as a group etc) - but its not working, I Keep getting a 'broken roof' - regardless of shape.

As English is not my mother language, it would be handy to have a chart of definitions of the words used, preferably shown in a drawing

How do I color standing seam metal roofing without individually coloring each side of each seam and so on... I'm sure there must be an easier way...

A picture is worth a thousand words unfortunately pictures cant be attached via a secondary website to this forum.
It appears impossible to set symmetrically spaced jack rafters, even the hip rafters are aligned edge based over a
typical 12' x12' square trellis, when ideally they should be center line based. Is there an option in the menu that I'm missing, that can set this variable? Even in Hawaii where there are many examples of exposed rafter construction. I would cringe if the contractor decided not to space the jack rafter equally (i.e. mirrored).
Tia for your answer!
