im running sketch up 8 trying to install instant fence on mac. got to the step where you click on plugins click install instant fence got that part then i click on the instant fence folder and it opens it where there are more files. my mac unzipped the file when it downloaded it is this the problem. sketch up is connected to the internet. what am i doing wrong

Hi -
I am working on modeling my house and landscape in sketchup and found this plugin.
The fences used in my neighborhood do not match up with any of the profiles that are premade.
How would I go about building a section of fence and add it as a new profile?

Hi Chuck, et al,
I'm running into an issue with a pretty simple group of lines. The lines cross a flat plane, drop down a ramp and then cross another flat plane. There are only 5 segments that make up the group. When I initiate the instant rail script using a built in style without edits, if fails with the following ruby error:
Error: #<TypeError: Cannot set length of a zero length vector)>

Hello, I am trying to create a 4' long metal arched fence to use as a gate.
When I run the script from a grouped straight line, the group just disappears and
no fence shows up. I've tried test the same setup on different lengths of lines and angles
and the same thing happens. Am I doing something wrong of is there a bug in the script.

I just can't figure out what the hell is wrong whit this, when I try to change heights of a railing, it happens with everyone of them, it just pulls up a random height not even remotely near the number I input, anyone is experiencing this also?

Hi there,
Downloaded some of your plugins today - I must say, they are absolutely fantastic.
I've had a play with them all, and they all work great, however, whenever I use the Fence script, it always hangs and a cmd.exe window pops up, which I have to 'X' off it to proceed. I'm guessing this shouldn't happen? Is there something I'm doing wrong?

There are two things I've encounter with this plugin since I purchase it yesterday, the first thing was when trying to simply change the height of the rail it gave a weird height rail (didn't reduce it just doubled the default height) I tought about it and remember an error that happens with Vray when you use the same symbol (in my case dot) for the decimal simbol and the "thousand" separator -in here I should explain my Win system is in spanish, and in spanish the comma is used as decimal so if you want to use the numeric keyboard to quickly draw in sketchup you can't because the dot doesn't

Hi Chuck !
First things first, congrats for your great job, the two plug-ins i bought are fantastic !
Now the bad side : there is just a little annoyance with Instant Fence. The plugin works, but, it is looking for the Mac address a my network card and can't find it. This happens under MAC OSX Snow leopard and Mountain Lion, on a Mac Pro and a Mac Book Air.
As i said, the plugin works great (even for a french user like me) but the three clicks needed to close the message window are a little pain in the ...
No great trouble, but.
Thanks again for your works, it saves me a lot of time.

does this script work in India...? i have purchased your script but its not working for me... em not getting connected with the internet... please help... i like your script.. its amazing... my OS is Windows 7 64 bit.
