SU8 with trial version of the plugin.
The road surface is being lofted to the level specified subgrade height, but not being connected to the mesh in any way.

I just purchased Instant Road Pro and think it's a great plugin so far. I'm attempting to create a road with several forks on a fairly complex, sloped site and am getting the the following error message when using Road from Faces: separations between faces must be single unbroken edge. I'm not sure what exactly this means and if I might have a parameter wrong. Please advise and Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Spent several hours with the free version last night, couldn't get the file to work. Bought the PRO this morning, still not working.
Trying to use road from centerline. I set the options, click ok, nothing happens except copyright notice in the measurement bar.

Can the Instant Road make use of a terrain created from 3D contours using the Sketch Up "From Contours" function or must it be only used with terrain meshes created directly in Sandbox?
I have exploded the "from contours" terrain and followed the "from faces" tutorial but I get the error screen each time.
Using Sketch Up 8 Pro for Windows Vista PC.

Hello. I'm able to check all the changes I put in the parameters.
However, sometimes the model does not make the promenade, with the parameters I enter the required information. Do something else? What is wrong?

In some of the examples of the instant road script, it shows some centerlines. any advice on how to overlay a road material to create this effect? I have a road material with the side and centerlines that i use for straight flat roads, but the moment there is a curve and/or topo involved it applies the material to each of the triangular segments separately.

Hi, I made a terrain using level curves and them front contours, then a made a group with faces, but it was not working.
Am I doing something wrong?

I have tried numerous parameters, but can't find a way to make my road follow contours. The road stays flat. Made the contours from sandbox tools from scratch.
please advise

Hi,
I'm using SU 8 pro with the freeware version of instant-road.
Quite often I get this result:

The terrain partly covers my roads.
Which parameter do I need to tweak?

Hi, I've just installed the plugin and am attempting to explore the possibilities a bit; unfortunately I haven't gotten past square one yet! I've followed the instructions in QuickStart Road from CenterLine and Introducing Road from CenterLine, but when I attempt to run the plugin, I get "ERROR: No Group Selected!" I think it must be something I'm doing wrong when attempting to select both the group containing the centerline and the terrain. I recognize this is very elementary, but any suggestions on how to solve this problem?
